Is it Safe to Swim in Coffin Bay?

The water in Coffin Bay is currently 12.6 degrees Celcius! In Summer the water temperature increases to over 20 degrees and there are a number of places to swim. The town jetty is probably the most polular. There are a variety of other good swimminfg spots around town. Just be aware that their are razorfish in the water and you need to keep your eyes open or wear protective shoes. Almonta Beach, in The Coffin Bay National Park is one of south Australia's most beautiful beaches and is quite sheltered at the Golden Island end in good weather.
